Mohammed and His Successors by Washington Irving
Khadijah was now in her fortieth year, a woman of judgment and experience.
The mental qualities of Mohammed rose more and more in her estimation,
and her heart began to yearn toward the fresh and comely youth. According
to Arabian legends, a miracle occurred most opportunely to confirm and
sanctify the bias of her inclinations. She was one day with her handmaids,
at the hour of noon, on the terraced roof of her dwelling, watching the
arrival of a caravan conducted by Mohammed. As it approached, she beheld,
with astonishment, two angels overshadowing him with their wings to protect
him from the sun. Turning, with emotion, to her handmaids, "Behold!" said
she, "the beloved of Allah, who sends two angels to watch over him!"

Restatement of History of Islam and Muslims by Sayed Ali Asgher Razwy
This is a new story of Islam. It is the story of the movement which was launched by Muhammad, the Messenger of God, in A.D. 610 in Makkah, and was consummated with the support of his cousin, collaborator and vicegerent, Ali ibn Abi Talib, in A.D. 632 in Medina. It covers a period of ninety years from A.D. 570 when he was born in Makkah, to A.D. 661 when his successor, Ali ibn Abi Talib, was assassinated in Kufa.

Muhammad
I am nothing new amoung the messengers
nor do I know what will be done with me
and you judged that the messenger
and the believers would never return
He will gather assured men
He will gather assured women
Into Gardens residing
Under trees in fields which waterbrooks flow
I follow only what has been disclosed to me
my primary duty is to clearly warn you
You will discover in the law of God
The power to change defeat into victory.
He will gather assured men
He will gather assured women
Into Gardens residing
Under trees in fields which waterbrooks flow
This Koran is truly from Him but you reject it
I follow my inspiration I will clearly warn you
I am a witness and a bearer of good tidings
That you may glorify Him at early dawn
Will the Children of Israel follow and believe
You remain too proud, God guides not the blind
He sent His messenger with the guidance
and the religion of truth to prevail over all
He will gather assured men
He will gather assured women
Into Gardens residing
Under trees in fields which waterbrooks flow
God has endeared the faith to you
and has enhanced it in your hearts,
and has made disbelief base behavior
and rebellion hateful unto you
(taken in rough from Koran 46)
